Out of the last four lays I put up three lost and one won "Checklow" which was trading @ 1.55 so not to heavy
All in all a bad way to start the week with a loss of £-74.34
I'm going to add the my rules to the blog tomorrow with the rules will be the times Ill put Intel up on the blog
Twice a day one for the day meetings and one if I need to play catch up !
Remember I want to be in and out like the SAS !"who dares wins"a few good lays then close down and walk away
£74.34 sounds a lot better then £347 keep the faith it will turn back round

A 80 % Strike rate for the day four out of five lays losing
For one of my connections that's his 100% strike rate gone !
His lays have been the most consistent over a six week period
But as Arsenal and Brentford know winning runs have to come to a end !

Tuesdays results

Well " Swindon Fl yer" was the wrong result coming home first
But with all the other lays losing a profit for the day of £50.57
That's a 80% strike rate BUT in the laying game its not good enough
With one lay winning you can still make a small profit with two or more your in to the catch up game which is the Russian roulette of laying !
Its very hard to pick the right lays to post on the blog I can only go by a facts or gut judgement !

I went in heavy on"Conquest" and had to green out on half of my lay
With liability's of £912 is was just to much of a risk
I had two connection put up " Conquest" which in fact lost but I think is was the right move to green out on half of my liability's
I protected my bank which has to be the right move

A profit of £133.57
Not my target of £150 but not a million miles away
Starting high with £300 liability's and working backwards reducing liability's with each lay going down to £25 does seem to be working
Reaching my target or getting close to it then stopping, closing down and walking away !
This isn't "Oceans eleven" its more like "Duck pond one"

Playing the safe lay I protected my profit and ended the day with a profit of £196.43
Its Wednesday evening and I'm back with the same bank as Monday morning !

Mondays results

I didn't reach my target of £150 I got to £98.32
Mainly because I greened out on"Jump Vet" after a 27% reduction on a non-runner I hoofed .
But " Jump Vet" still lost!
After yesterday I had to stick to the rules which are,
1)Always look for non-runners on the rules tab on the right hand side of the betfair screen
As big reductions will effect the out come
They are all listed in percentages
2)Always watch the market on your screen if the odds start tumbling down in front of your eyes after you've already layed it !
That's when a "hoof" bet comes in to play http://www.ukhorseracing.co.uk/tools/SimpleArb.asp it helps reduce large losses
It doesn't always work but very handy

Monday's round up

Well talk about coming down to earth with a bang
After last weeks success today I closed down with losses of £303.25
With "Valley of the moon" winning I took a large hit of my bank.
With only two lays today I had a go at winning some losses back will I never learn ?
Last week I made a effort to protect my profits starting with £50 lays with £250 liability's Trying to reach my £100 target and then reduce my liability's so I don't risk all of my profit
This worked well with the help of some good results
So now I'm back playing catch up tomorrows target is £150 with two new connection coming on board tomorrow have I got to many connections ?
Is GREED is the problem
Or is it to many lays per day reduces your chances of losing !(in my world winning)
What is the ideal number of lays per day ? before the law of probability takes over !
Or the fact that I'm in too much of a hurry to check the non-runners and the real time stats of a race
